  1. Mizutani Junji: Sawada-Style Acupuncture and Mizutani-Style Bamboo-tube Moxa

Mizutani Sensei introduces the practical and effective treatment methods of early 20th-Century master Ken Sawada. He will also demonstrate gentle moxibustion methods that calm the nervous system and explain how moxibustion affects the human body.
Mizutani Sensei graduated from the Japan Central Acupuncture College of Tokyo in 1983 and moved to Vancouver in 1992. His passion for moxibustion, the Sawada style, and traditional approaches are coupled with a no-nonsense pragmatism. He has accepted invitations to teach moxibustion around the globe and is the director and a founding member of NAJOM.

   2. Round-robin Demonstration: More from some of your favorite teachers!

In 1994, Mizutani Junji, Stephen Birch, and Stephen Brown recognized the value of having one central platform for practitioners from all over the world to share their knowledge and experience in Japanese acupuncture. In the 25 years since, we the NAJOM community have enjoyed thousands of pages of practitioner contributions, pushed the ever-expanding boundaries of Japanese acupuncture, and fostered a strong community of colleagues and friends. We are celebrating this momentous milestone by inviting you to 3 days of learning and fun in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

We are looking forward to learning from several master teachers, including Mizutani Junji, Funamizu Takahiro, Stephen Birch, Iwashita Shumei (Toyohari style), Takahashi Hideo (Dashin technique), Takahashi Daiki (Shakuju Therapy), Stephen Brown (Shudo Style Super Rotation Needling Technique) and Jeffrey Dann (Koshi Balancing).
