For 2019, the High Desert Hari Society will be hosting a monthly virtual study group with Nigel Dawes on Kampo Medicine. This monthly study group is a great opportunity to deepen and refine your knowledge of Kampo with real patient scenarios. Each month we will focus on a different topic, wherein a case study or case studies will be solicited from the group and shared with all participants in advance of the scheduled study group for review prior to our meeting.
We will have the opportunity in each study group to have an in depth conversation about the topic and the case study/ies presented. Each study group will be led by Nigel and there will be plenty of time for questions, discussion and feedback. The study groups will be held monthly via Zoom Meeting (an online video/call-in meeting platform) and will run from 9-11pm Eastern Standard Time.
All communication regarding the study groups will be through the Kampo Study Google Group. The google group is a place for Nigel’s students to ask questions and exchange information between the monthly Zoom Meeting groups. It is a place to interact with other students, follow up on patient progress after monthly meetings, have discussions about tricky patients and seek assistance as we continue to practice and learn the intricate art of diagnosis and prescription in Kampo.
In order to participate in the Monthly Kampo Study Group meetings you must have taken a course from Nigel or be currently enrolled in a course with Nigel.
Participation in the Monthly Kampo Study Group requires a subscription.

Access to these meetings will be provided for a nominal monthly fee to support the ongoing operations and provide compensation to our instructor for his time and the wealth of knowledge he will be sharing with us.
You can choose to sign up for an Annual Subscription which will give you access to all 12 Study Groups for 2019 or you can choose a Quarterly Subscription which will automatically renew or be invoiced every 3 months for 2019.
Annual Subscription payment: Subscribe for the whole year before January 21, 2019 and receive the discounted rate of $180 for the year ($15 per month) and that’s a savings of $60 for the year over the Quarterly Subscription price!)
Quarterly Subscription payments: $60 charged every 3 months, $240 total for the year.
As long as your subscription payments are current you will be sent the link to join the meeting each month on the day of the meeting.

- Check payment is only accepted for the full Annual Subscription. Quarterly Subscriptions require automatic payment setup through paypal.
- Check payments must be received by the office no later than January 21, 2018 to get the annual subscription discount price.

Subscription cancellations will be prorated based on the time of cancellation and type of subscription and must be requested by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
