15 PDA/CE/CAE’s approved for NCCAOM, CA and TX

Registration is now closed for this workshop. Thank you all very much for your support!

Funemizu Sensei is a rare practitioner in Japan, his practice has an almost exclusive focus on mental-emotional complaints. He has developed effective and gentle treatments for PTSD, depression, and trauma using Japanese Meridian therapy.

These techniques were utilized and refined on the ground after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Photos and stories of those visits to Fukushima will be shared in this seminar.

“Funemizu is considered one of a new wave of dynamic Japanese Sensei. He is one of the leading young master teachers of Japan’s Meridian Therapy Association. His teaching schedule and clinical practice are in great demand. This is his first teaching visit to the mainland U.S.”
-Jeffrey Dann, L.Ac., Ph.D.

At the completion of this seminar you will:

      • Understand the Japanese five-element approach to Heart Shock Trauma
      • Be competent in providing basic Meridian therapy needle techniques for root treatment
      • Be competent in providing manual and non-insertive stimulation using acupuncture tools
      • Appreciate & explore whole body treatment using Japanese diagnostic and stimulation techniques.

      ABOUT THE SEMINAR

This event will teach you techniques for treating the mind and spirit. Sensei Takahiro Funemizu has a dynamic teaching style and obvious technical skills that are readily transmissible. These include a wide variety of “fine touch” techniques not widely used in North America, such as sesshokushin and sanshin. These techniques are easily understood and applied clinically to effectively soothe the Body-Mind.

You will learn graceful “katas” or protocols to elicit deep relaxation and balance with gentle and effective Meridian Therapy. These techniques have been refined and clinically applied over the past few years treating victims of the Japan tsunami and earthquake. The techniques are applicable for a wide range of mental-health conditions, including depression, PTSD, anxiety and shock; and are comfortable & effective for deficient patients, young or old.

      INSTRUCTOR BIO
Funemizu-sensei is considered one of a new wave of dynamic Japanese teachers. He is one of the leading young master teachers of Japan’s Meridian Therapy Association.

Sensei Takahiro Funemizu is an Instructor and Clinical Practitioner at Kuretake School of Therapeutics. He is a long time student of Meridian Therapy and studies particularly the Tanba Style taught by Meridian Therapy Society Chairman, Okada Akizo Sensei. Funemizu Sensei treats primarily people with depression, anxiety and mental health associated conditions.

Based on his clinical experience, facial acupuncture is often included in treatments. Funemizu Sensei has found that using facial rejuvenation (especially with women) improves the efficacy of treatments for depression. In addition, he includes many non-invasive techniques in his treatments.

Please join us this spring for this incredible opportunity to learn from one of the few experts in mental-emotional treatment approaches in Meridian Therapy.
