Kimberly Maloney, L.Ac.

President of the Board

Kimberly Maloney, L.Ac., began her journey in medicine 30 years ago as a Western educated nurse practitioner, specializing in critical care, trauma, neurosurgery and bone marrow transplants. She graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) and transitioned to East Asian Medicine and specifically Japanese Meridian Therapy 11 years ago. Her interest in High Desert Hari Society began when she was a student at PCOM. She studied briefly in Japan in 2018 and looks forward to returning.

For the past three years, she has been voted “Best Acupuncturist” in Sedona, Arizona where she has a very busy practice. Her passion is helping clients achieve wellness through Japanese Meridian Therapy. She continually seeks opportunities to deepen her understanding of Asian medicine and has found the workshops available through The High Desert Hari Society to be an integral part of her practitioner journey.

Kimberly welcomes her position of president as a way to give back and to facilitate the society’s goal of reaching practitioners who want to further their study of this rich and beautiful medicine.
